===How to start and run a desktop computer operating system directly from an external storage device===

##To be able to use (run) a computer operating system one may execute the following procedure.##

~-**Acquisition**
~~-Acquire the computer operating system image file (with file extension //.img// or //.iso//) of the desired operating system, such as a recent Puppy GNU+Linux release:
