What is Puppy GNU+Linux?
To be able to use (run) a computer operating system one must perform the following steps.
Step 1 - Download a computer operating system image file
Select an edition/flavour/spin/build of Puppy GNU+Linux to download (others available)- Puppy Linux edition: trixiepup32 (for older machines)
- Puppy Linux edition: trixiepup64 (for newer machines only)
Step 2 - Flash/Write the computer operating system image file (software) to a data storage device (hardware)
- Flashing to External Data Storage Device
Step 3 - Configure the computer settings to use the operating system that has been written to the external data storage device
