For successful installation
- Install the package to /mnt/home using the command-line interface:
wget -t0 --retry-connrefused -c -N -S -T 16 --wait=2 --random-wait --no-dns-cache --prefer-family=IPv6 --directory-prefix=/mnt/home --no-cache --no-cookies http://www.smokey01.com/coolpup/jre-1.6.0.23-20110123.sfs
- Then follow the instructions at: Menu > System > BootManager

For successful installation
- Verify that sufficient free drive/partition space is available: >=105MB
- Verify that the directory /mnt/home is not part of a FAT partition/drive
- Install the latest available version of XZUtils xz
- Install the package to /mnt/home using the command-line interface:

- Verify that, for frugal Puppy installations, a save file has already been created and has enough free space inside it for extraction

Go to: Tools > Options > Content > Enable Java

Go to: Tools > Quick Preferences > Enable Plug-ins
