Quirky Development

Quirky came out around the same time as the new Ubuntu-based puppies and nearly became puppy 5. The original version of quirky looks, feels and runs like an optimized puppy 431 and was a good start.

Maybe, my favorite Puppy distro. I put it on an old PIII 500 Celeron with 192Mb RAM and it's a screaming demon.

Fast, easy to navigate and configure. If you have an older box, this is the one. Not nearly as quirky to install as the others.
