Since the objective of proprietary computer operating systems is now to completely track, surveil and profile the user, one needs to employ alternative systems that are superior, comprised of free software and respect one's privacy.

What is Puppy Linux?
To be able to use (run) a computer operating system one must perform the following steps.
Step 1 - Download a computer operating system release file
Select an edition of Puppy Linux to download (https://wikka.puppylinux.com/HomePagePlus others available)- Puppy Linux edition: BookwormPup32 (for older machines)
- Puppy Linux edition: BookwormPup64 (for newer machines only)
Step 2 - Flash (Write) the computer operating system release file to a storage device
- Flashing to External Storage Device
Step 3 - Instruct the computer to use the operating system that has been written to the storage device
