What is Puppy Linux?
To be able to use (run) a computer operating system one must perform the following steps.
Step 1 - Download a computer operating system image file
Select an edition/flavour/spin/build of Puppy Linux to download (others available)- Puppy Linux edition: BookwormPup32 (for older machines)
- Puppy Linux edition: BookwormPup64 (for newer machines only)
Step 2 - Flash (Write) the computer operating system image file to an external data storage device
- Flashing to External Data Storage Device
Step 3 - Instruct the computer to use the operating system that has been written to the external data storage device
