Summary
wag-profiles.sh is both a wizard to configure and connect to a wireless access point and also a function library that can be used by other scripts to connect and to configure wireless networks.
The wizard does not setup the IP address or the name server but the file does come with function to configure the IP address (e.g. setupDHCP())
While wag-profiles can be used as a standalone wireless networking wizard, it is typically used in connection with Network Wizard (net-setup.sh) and it's associated startup-script rc.network
