Installation
Install appropriate package:
wget-1.16 (thread) - version with vulnerability fixed (Oct 2014), tested on Slacko 5.7

Dependencies
+bzip2,+gettext,+gnutls,+grep,+libgcrypt,+libidn,+openssl,+tar

Commands
verify installed version via the command-line interface: 
wget --version
