~A Linux symlink will only work on a Linux [[partition]] (or on a Linux partition 'filesystem-in-a-file', for example .sfs .2fs .3fs - which Puppy uses in [[frugal]] mode). This is worth considering when copying files to a Windows partition, or a compiling process that creates symlinks.
